How do foreigners handle the certificate of non criminal record in China?
Foreigners who have studied, worked or lived in China for 6 months or more may be required by relevant overseas government departments to issue a certificate of no criminal record in China when dealing with overseas study, work visa, residence or immigration. Some countries also require applicants to notarize China's certificate of no crime.
Under normal circumstances, foreigners who hold long-term visas or residence such as student residence, work residence and resident reporter visa, and continuously and timely handle the temporary residence registration of the police station according to the regulations, and the registration time reaches or exceeds 6 months, are eligible to apply for China's crime free certificate.
Which departments can issue Guangzhou non criminal certificate?
The certificate of no crime is generally issued by the exit Entry Administration Bureau of the Public Security Bureau. The notary office notarizes the certificate of no crime record issued by the Public Security Bureau and issues a notarial certificate.
The process of applying for a certificate of non criminal is as follows:
Bring relevant materials to the entry-exit reception hall of the Municipal Public Security Bureau to apply for a certificate of no crime.
The exit Entry Administration of the Municipal Public Security Bureau searches whether there is a criminal record. If there is no criminal record, it will issue a certificate of no criminal record.
After obtaining the certificate of no criminal record, go to the municipal notary office for notarization.
The notary office issues a notarial certificate of no crime.
The list of materials required to apply for non criminal certificate is as follows:
The original of the applicant's old and new passports;
Note: if the applicant is unable to provide the original passport, a copy shall be provided, but the copy must be notarized by the Chinese notary office or authenticated by the Chinese consulate.
The original or scanned copy of the temporary accommodation registration form of the last residence.
If you entrust others to handle it, provide the power of attorney (reference to the content of the power of attorney: entrust XXX to handle the notarization without criminal punishment in _ from _ mm / DD / yyyy to _ mm / DD / yyyy) and the ID card of the agent.
Note: if the applicant is in China, the power of attorney needs to be notarized by China Notary Office; If the applicant is abroad, the power of attorney needs to be certified by the Chinese Consulate in a foreign country.

The processing time of no criminal record certificate is 3-4 weeks, excluding international mailing time.
Under what circumstances can I not apply for a certificate of non criminal record?
1. If the applicant has not been in China for at least 6 months;
2. If the applicant fails to register for temporary accommodation in time during his stay in China;
3. The Public Security Bureau found that the applicant had a criminal record during his stay in China.
